What did you learn about energy or energy resources from you particular scientific investigation?
I learned that nuclear energy isn't that dangerous. Gamma rays disperse fairly quickly across a large area fairly quickly. In my experiment for my scientific paper I tested the effect distance has on radiation. In my graph shown below you can see that most radiation was lost after I moved the source four centimeters from the Geiger counter. This means that most radiation is lost as it's leaving it's source. Therefore it is an illegitimate concern that nuclear energy plants would cause health problems to anyone living relatively close to the nuclear power plant. The radiation will have dispersed enough to where the amount that reaches the human is very miniscule and isn't excessive amounts of radiation that we wouldn't receive anyways.
